MRT has made a commitment to gain accreditation to the IEMA Acorn Scheme, which offers UKAS accredited recognition for organisations evaluating and improving their environmental performance through the phased implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with BS8555.

MRT has invested in a new Hyundai Kia SKT210SY CNC Turning Centre to satisfy growing demand from customers for high precision turned castings and machined from solid components.

MRT are proud to announce the opening of our new 4,000 sq ft Assembly facility, close to our main foundry site in Andover.  The facility offers our customers full electro-mechanical assembly of components, enabling MRT to provide a complete manufacturing solution. 

MRT have installed a new 220ton High Pressure Die Casting Cell to enable our customers to benefit from the latest technology and automation available in the foundry industry.

MRT has installed the Solidworks Office Professional CAD Suite to enhance our design and engineering capabilities.  Solidworks is respected as the industry standard package for 3D design and modelling, and this will enhance our capabilities both for in-house tooling design, and for collaborating with our customers on component design.

MRT's presence at the Southern Manufacturing 2006 Show was a great success.  The two day exhibition, held at Thorpe Park on 8th & 9th February, drew record attendances, nowhere more so than on the MRT stand.
