TC32A SpindleMRT's extensive modern CNC Machining facilities are at the very core of the Company's operations.  In a market where customers require the shortest possible lead times, the benefits of finding a single source who can cast, machine and finish components can slash lead times and greatly reduce the logistic and management costs of dealing with several subcontractors. Most critical to your competitiveness, however, is that the machine shop which you choose to rely on has the best kit and skilled staff to optimise the quality and productivity of their processes.  MRT is that machine shop.

At MRT, our experienced team are specialists in CNC Machining Castings and understand the casting process itself, so they know the important inspection aspects of working on cast components. In terms of machine tools, we have some of the fastest and most versatile machines available.  Our ongoing investment programme ensures that the latest technology is employed to minimise production costs and enhance product quality.

APC600Brother 32AAlthough we specialise in CNC Machining die castings which we have produced in our own foundry, we also machine and finish components cast by other processes, outside our in-house capacity, as well as CNC Machining from extrusion and solid. Whatever the volume, be it large or small, minimise your supplier list by allowing MRT to supply all of your non-ferrous components ready for the production line.

We have a wide range of CNC Machining Centres and CNC Turning facilities, with capacity to accept the largest castings we can produce.  All our machines have synchronised tapping for maximum speed and accuracy of threading

Rapid Tool Changing, Twin Pallet Loading, Speed Indexing and Off-Line Programming minimise production cycles. With tightly controlled costs MRT are competitive on small or large batches.

HTC400Quality is carefully controlled at every stage. All critical dimensions are regularly gauged and checked out by our CNC Co-ordinate Measuring Machines.

Jigs and fixtures are made in our own Toolroom, where our experience enables us to optimise the relationship of cast and machined dimensions. It also allows us to minimise the delay between production of first off raw castings and production of machined components.  One of the greatest advantages of working with a single supply partner for both casting and cnc machining services is at the initial design stages.  MRT are in an excellent position to optimise intricate component designs by casting appropriate details into the casting itself, whilst having the opportunity to subsequently machine any small holes, tightly toleranced flatnesses and other details which may cause quality or production rate problems if designed into the casting itself.
