Description:
An exciting opportunity for an Apprentice to train in a complete manufacturing environment, working on components for a diverse range of markets, using the latest technology and industry-leading machinery. The successful candidates will gain experience in tooling and process design, aluminium die casting, trimming, CNC machining, electro-mechanical assembly, inspection and quality control. As the apprenticeship progresses there will be the opportunity to specialise in specific production areas.
MRT are Manufacturers, Machinists and Assemblers of High Quality Aluminium Die Castings. MRT produce components for a diverse range of industries, from Designer Light Fittings to Advanced Medical Devices, and from Hi Fi Equipment to Weapons Control Systems.
We are looking for fast learners, with and enthusiastic and positive approach. MRT is a busy production environment, so you will need to be follow instructions quickly and be able to work well under pressure. Whilst you will be working in teams, with good supervision, you will often be responsible for valuable and potentially hazardous machinery, hence you must have a mature and sensible attitude. Whilst the work is very interesting and challenging, at times it can also be repetitive, and physically tiring, so if you are afraid of a hard day's work you need not apply!
